Founded in 2008, A Cause 4 Celebration was created by lymphoma survivor Michael Russell and four of his colleagues who share his passion for helping children with cancer. Michael considers himself one of the luckiest people in the world - lucky enough to have battled cancer himself and to have come out on top. However, so many young people are not as lucky. As an older member of the pediatric cancer community, Michael watched children far younger than him battle a disease that attacked them with neither warning nor reason. We at AC4C are making sure pediatric cancer programs - like the one that provided Michael with priceless physical and emotional support - are receiving the funding they need to continue saving young lives.
